The first movie as director Angelina Jolie already has his leading lady. Zana Marjanovic will play a woman in love with a Bosnian Serb men during the conflict in the region.
The actress, 27 years is on its way from Hungary to prepare for the movie, which also will be movieed in Bosnia, his homeland. In an interview with The Associated Press, Zana said she is looking forward to shooting with a “great actor and Jolie as a humanist.”
Angelina was in Bosnia twice this year as UN ambassador, and to monitor the progress of the movie. The actress said that only work with local actors.
Zana Marjanovic starred Snijeg, also of Bosnian Aida Begic, Grand Prize winner of the Critics’ Week Cannes movie Festival 2008.
