Arriving on Mars, Quaid joins a rebel group fighting against a corporate enterprise that seeks to dominate the planet and thus dominate the mineral on Earth. The rebels who are in the know about Mars’s past “Doug” Quaid and will help the unlikely hero to discover the true meaning of his visions. Douglas Quaid, thus becomes the only hope of victory for the locals.

Len Wiseman did not hide his satisfaction for being able to lead the project because “I was always fascinated by the story by Philip K. Dick, and I’m excited about the possibility of deepening the kind of world he evokes and the questions it poses. I love the idea that the mystery crucial that our character tries to solve is that of his own soul. ”
