Still not sure what name the movie will have here in Brazil, so the title is in English. The poet “say what they say, the evil of the century is loneliness,” and this is the seed that brings forth one of the most beautiful stories of humor, loneliness and friendship. Where can I be so naive to the point of labeling the emotions contained in the film. This is an animation, those of clay as Chicken Run and others, and counts some of the characters’ lives that give title to the film, Mary and Max

Mary is a young girl who lives in Australia and has a birthmark on his forehead, that second itself has the color of poop. What wickedness. Interesting how the movie opens in parentheses at any moment to define characteristics, emotions and memories of the characters. I think I need not mention the character traits, especially when the film does so with brilliance and sensitivity. Ensuring good laugh while browsing the boundary between humor and drama. I promised not to talk about character, but I need the link to Max and Mary’s curiosity leads us to him.

Max is already a master, lives in New York and frequents the weight watchers. Extremely anxious and shy, spends his life alone. Until it is struck by the curiosity of Mary. Begins a beautiful friendship at a distance, which does not prevent from going through all cycles of a friendly face.

I do not know if the label is an animation directed to children or adults, it has a good time for all ages. And probably will make you laugh and cry sometimes. And look who sail in these seas is not easy. Surprise, and time does not give a grade five. Toma!
