One more actress joins the cast of the remake of The Time of Fear, long success of the 80s. Sandra Vergara, who appeared in episodes of television series like Nip / Tuck and CSI: Miami, was confirmed in the cast. She is the sister of actress Sofia Vergara, the show’s Modern Family.
In the plot, Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin) is a 17 year-old aficionado of horror films and, in particular, by the television program Fright Night (A Time of Fear in Portuguese), presented by a veteran actor who specializes in vampire roles Peter Vincent. The boy discovers that his new neighbor, Jerry cordial Dandrige (Colin Farrell), in fact, is also a creature of the night, thirsty for blood of others. But not his mother (Toni Colette), nor his girlfriend (Imogen poots) they listen to the story. Vergara will play the assistant and girlfriend of Peter Vincent.
Craig Gillespie is directing the remake from a script written by Marti Noxon. Michael De Luca and Alison R. Rosenzweig will be the producers of the film, whose premiere is scheduled for 2011.
