The Oscars are arranged on a table backstage at the theater Dolby during the show (in bygone times, when the Oscar roamed the Dorothy Chandler to the Shrine Auditorium in downtown LA, they were in the kitchen…)

The statuettes are all numbered, no names _ these are recorded during the Governors’ Ball, the big dinner that celebrates the Academy’s board nominees and winners.
